    I'll never forget sugar Ray Leonard on live tv saying manfredo was going to beat Joe Calzaghe. Ray was a better fighter than a pundit.

    So he's fighting someone named Melvin Russell. Last fight was against Vladine Biosse 2 1/2 years ago he was 15-7-2. He went in against Peter at 1-7-2 in his last 10, so that means this is a I need some rent money fight. Biosse is 3-7 in his last 10 fights. Definitely a need-some-rent-fight money.

    He would make a fine opponent for 3G.
    A fine opponent indeed.

    I remember him from the Contender series back in 05. He was absolutely brilliant. His fight with Joey Spina was a true display to marvel upon, and the two wars with Sergio Mora were both epic battles.

    Hopefully he can get back into proper form, a fight with 3G would be one for the ages and would most assuredly force Canelos hand into a rubber match should 3G emerge victorious
