This fight was meant to happen, according to manfredo sr. froch's people phoned up and offered the fight to which he accepted but then nothing was made. possibly cos tv wouldnt pick it up says manfredo sr.

froch win by KO. i dont like froch but im afraid there only 1 outcome here cuz he throws bombs and manfredo aint slick enough to move out of the way.

i dont think it will be that 1 sided, sure froch is ranked higher but hasnt fought anyone ranked as high as manfredo is at present. plus manfredo has never been ko'd. onlt prematurelly stopped by calzaghe.

manfredo also stopped spina and pemberton at 168, not bad when comparing records between the 2.

    any other opinions??

froch would batter him, manfredo's nothing special at all.

  5. Would be over in a round or two. Still, nice to see my man Froch *finally* getting respect; it's been a long road for him!

Froch certainly isn't anything special either. That guy looked B-level against a meatslab in his last fight. This would be a competitive fight, IMHO.

  7. Ha ha ha!!!!!!!!!! Mate don't say stuff like that if you haven't seen the fight ok cause it makes you look silly - Froch owned Rybaki! You make it sooooooooooooo obvious you're just hating on him when you make a silly statement like that!

frochs got a lot to prove but he's a hard hitter who can get better. manfredo has never showed anything approaching world class. and i watched frochs last fight, he did alright.

Mate, I did watch the fight. He looked average against a sub-average fighter. A Bute or Kessler would take him apart.

  10. Yeah ok then I guess beating a guy to a pulp in under 5 rounds makes you a fraud, someone should call Pavlik in that case....

maybe but we're talking about manfredo . excellent point about pavlik too, that lockett fight was a farce.

But the guy was a tomato can. He was a bad fighter. Period. Let Froch beat a Taylor, Kessler or Bute, and I will gladly admit I was mistaken. I just did not see a world class fighter there.

  13. ok that's fair enough :good

Froch by TKO first 4 rounds.

Bit of a mismatch IMO... Froch vs Kessler or Taylor i'd like to see. Hard to know how good Froch is as he hasn't faced anyone of real note
