Peter-Maskaev

I gave round 1 to Peter. Cleaner shots, the few that landed.

Peter looks more relaxed and seems to have refined his technique a bit each fight.

 

I agree, those two good rights in succession clinched it for me.

Maskaev looks decent with the weight, pretty solid rather than flabby.

Oleg looks set to just sleep through the 1st half of the fight.

 

So much for Teddy Atlas' prediction of Peter KO1!!!

 

I'm still concerned about how Peter lunges in with his right hand sometimes. You could see a sharp counterpuncher reading that.

Man all those wild punches...

It's like bum fights in there.

 

Little better round for Oleg, but I still have given Peter the first two rounds. Food for though, Oleg landed a chopping right at round two ended, he tried that punch a few times during the round.

 

Maskaev picked it up, but Peter still seemed to win round 2. Peter still more active, landed a short left that pushed Maskaev backwards.

Is it me or does it look like Peter isn't motivated?

 

Oleg is gonna sell that head punch all night and get a point out of it.

 

Maskaev in trouble...half a round to go, Maskaev blocking most of the shots, clinch stops the action

 

Oh ****, he looks motivated now.

 

These guys are putting me to sleep. HW divison really sucks!
