Credit where's it's due, mate.

 

looked like he went into the fight with a broken right hand....then looked at another fight of his...either he has calzageesque paper mache manos, then looked at another one....he just doesnt throw the cross when he is ahead. if he has a man hurt or catches them he'll go for it but those oppertunities don't arise if you don't throw a bit of chaos in the mix.
He clearly doesnt have the devil and variety. good, solid, techy but doesnt look like he can turn a fight around. aesthetically crisp, but in reality just 'good'.

it's something the GB amatuer scene has somehow developed which has festered. good technicianship and pleasing textbook style (which is GREAT im never going to knock it) yet can't actually develop any ring generalship. either offensively good or defenicvely negative and wait for the round to end. not exploit or develop openings and stratagies. not enough framing or just genuine creativity.


side note. will watch him though. he pleases my eye.

 

McGrail's cut is going to keep him out for a while i think.
