    For this fight, Ali would havre carried him for a long time, to get more
    TV exposure.
    Ali was like a 'Ring Leader at a Circus' when fighting weak opposition.
    Of course embarrassing the poor guy, instead of taking him out of there
    like a real fighter.
    Since McNeeley would offer no threat (ie; Evangilista), and was generally a nice guy,,,,,,,could you see this fight going 12 rounds, with Ali giving away 3 rounds.

    I don't think Peter could even go the distance with the severely diminished Ali who could not longer knock Evangelista out. (At least Alfredo proved to be reasonably durable, and had beaten some decent opponents, although he'd never gone past eight before.) The only version of Ali McNeeley could be competitive with would be the Thyrolar impaired cadaver Holmes beat up. Peter even gets schooled by the Ali of the Berbick swan song.

    Although Ali wasn't a huge puncher. it was still necessary to have a modicum of defensive concentration and punch resistance to go 12 rounds with him. Peter measures up to nobody who lasted for this length of time with Ali.

  5. ali, the present version would beat prime mcneley even peter with a shotgun

    Just the Title of this thread had me bursting out laughing !

    Is it Mcneely (1995) Vs Ali (2010) ? Lmao

    I think McNeely passes out with anxiety in the dresing room when he realises the seriousness of who he's about to fight lol

    Peter McNeely would pass out, just looking at the Check for his fighter's purse.

    I'm sure he would agree to mow Muhammad Ali's lawn for 10-years.
    1978 Fight;
    Ali carries his 'landscaper' for 12 rounds, stoppage in 13.
    McNeely's Lucky number.
