It was pathetic from Quillin. What kind of coward Quillin is, dude is doing silly dancing after getting hit on the head.atsch:rofl
When hit high on the side of the head; electric current gets disrupted . The wave of energy shoots down the spine and into the marrow of the bones of the leg. All strength and stability is lost at this point. The " dancing " is actually the effort to stay upright on legs that are not working properly. The only thing that is left is the mind dictating where each step should be made to stay standing. He was focused but more than likely slightly concussed. Great effort to stay upright .
Give the guy a break. He got hit. It can happen to anyone anytime. He didn't get to where he is by being a clown.
If you ask me, Quillin should have had the smarts to take a knee and use the 8 count to clear his head. Instead he tried to stay up while buzzed and that cost him the chance to continue. That and he didn't know how to clinch. Shows that Quillin really was an amateur.
I suppose it was quite creative and the execution was fairly decent but it doesn't come close to the one his Cuban compatriot Humberto Savigne did against Craig Baker. Savigne scores maximum points in every category in that one for me. Creative, artistic, difficulty and execution. I thought what he did was sensational he seamlessly blended about 3 or 4 different styles of dance together. Even Wilder only managed to combine 2 styles of dance together (Irish jig & Chicken dance) when he was stopped in the amateurs by that Russian welterweight. Overall score Quillin 7 out of 10 Savigne 10 out of 10 1:42-2:28 [YT]u87dtPbKB_k[/YT]
