Got the impression that he whooped Chavez Jr and got whooped by Golovkin. He seemed to get very defensive when Golovkin was brought up. If nobody whoops Quillin, why did he refuse a fight with him? Quillin seems like a cool guy.

    :think

Quillin v N'Jikam is a great fight too and I hope Kid Chocolate takes that belt from him and stays fighting quality fighters.

Can watch right now. I think Quillin is the third best middleweight behind Sergio and GGG.

Hed be a sylistic nightmare for Chavez. A good counter puncher who cam crack. Meanwhile GGG would be a tough fight for Q because he wouldnt give Q opportunities and woukd exploit some of Quillins defensive lapses.

Don't know why peter quillin is under rated here, he's the next top #1 middleweight champ after Sergio Martinez retires or loses.

Quilling midd rounds TKO. IMO it will be even fight but HNN will get little bit sloppy when the fight goes on...

I dont know I think Quillin is huge and strong middleweight with decent skills and they big guys are the future of the mw-division as much I like GGG I think he is just too small...

I have Quillin too. Both N'Jikam and Quillin are skilled fighters with defensive frailties. Quillin has good pop in his punch and N'Jikam has been down and hurt in previous fights. Quillin mid round stoppage for me.

If Quillin picks the title up next week, I say he takes on JT, would be a good first defense, and its not that bad of a name for resume.

I'd the say the reason Quillin isn't rated as highly is because this is the first opponent he's taken on in ages who's not coming off a loss. And he hasn't exactly been looking anywhere near as impressive as someone like Golovkin has against similarly weak opposition.

I'd pick Quillin over anyone at middleweight besides Martinez and Golovikn. I wouldn't count him out against them either.

:deal Great post. I see Quillin as an effective, but very basic 1-2 fighter. Yes he is a stylistic nightmare for Chavez Jr as long as he has range Quillin can hurt you, but don't know how his inside game is or how he'll do against an opponent that can handle his power.

Quillin would get thrashed in a real fight.
