Quillin would never fight Golovkin! HE knew he would get knocked out!

This hasn't been certified yet, but this is turning out to be a great great card. I might fly out to see this one.
These guys have both been out for some time. I think theyre both average fighters. I see them on about the same level. I dont care who wins just want a good fight. I give Love the edge cuz he'll be the A side Im sure.

I thought Quillin quietly stepped away from the sport after Jacobs smashed him, apparently this is not his first fight back since then. I did not know that, has he been televised since Jacobs blasted him out in a round?

Nope, his match with Dashon Johnson was on the undercard of a triple-header on Showtime (Benavidez vs. Gavril I) but didn't make the broadcast portion of the card. In the co-feature that night, J'Leon Love fought Abraham Han and received a gift technical draw (almost everybody on the forum had Abie up by a few points when it was stopped).

Does Love have any other gifts besides the holy trinity he currently has at the Rosado debacle, the early stoppage against Dashon Johnson, and the last gift he received vs Han via technical decision...

Those are the biggies. He was very lucky to scrape past Marco Antonio Periban on the Mayweather vs. Maidana I undercard (I had it 95-94 Love but there was some wiggle room in a couple of my J'Leon rounds) - also lost unto the sands of time is the fact that his victory over Derrick Findley was anything but the shutout (or near enough) the official judges had it. My score was 96-94 Love, another very uncomfortably close encounter (in which you could easily make room to shift a couple of points Superman's way to give him the nod), chalked up and excused as "learning experience" by the Money Team even though it foreshadowed Love's career-long bugaboos: low ring IQ and weak chin.

I remember the Periban fight pretty well, watched that one live and was shocked. Love was moments from being stopped, and if I'm remembering correctly he may have been lucky the ref didn't stop that bout because he was really reeling all over the place badly wobbled in that one.

No wonder he refused to fight Golovkin! Just seemed as if he just disappeared!
