    Whats up with this kid?

He was on the fast track it seemed, to a world title shot, then all of the sudden after a realtively busy year in 08 he dissapeared. I remember hearing something of the typical managerial issues, but never found out wtf happened.

I know he returned at the beggining of the year after over a year of inactivity, but hasn't fought since. What a waste of talent if he gets stuck on the 1 to 2 fights a year plan. He doesn't even have anything scheduled (on boxrec at least).

Either way, anyone feel free to fill me in here.

Yep, it's very alarming. Its also an indictment of this quagmire the sport seems to be stuck in. Promoters are not doing their job of promoting, young fighters don't seem to have the willingness to stay busy, as a result they become stale and don't improve their opposition level and therefore skills stagnate. They see these world level fighters like Winky sitting out for long periods on krispy Kreme diets and rainbow chasing so it becomes a trend.

The TV situation is also a big factor, as there are less dates, less money in the pot and less exposure. All round pretty dire circumstances.

I hope it's not career threatening.

He was doing well but had some edges that needed to be sharpen to get to the nezt level. Would like to know if he takes his career serious or what is up...
