Rahman wouldn't have enough firepower to keep Peter off him and he doesn't have the defense to keep Peter from hitting him.

I don't think The Rock has time to get in premier shape against a beast like Peter

I don't think anybody of name recognition will step in on short notice unless they been seriously training, unless its Emmanuel Augustus Heavyweight uncle

Loser, I don't care what you think of my prediction.

Rahman has a much better resumé than Peter does and he will make Peter look like the amateur he is. Hasim has a very good jab, not on the level of Wlad or Lewis, but it's up there and Peter ain't got ****. He hasn't even KO'd a single top ten opponent....................Jeremy Williams is Peter's best scalp - so ****in' what?!

BTW, I don't think Peter is one of Wladimir's biggest scalps either......................Byrd, Mercer, Austin & Brock have all achieved more than Peter has to this point.

Yes I said Austin, at least he has a "draw" vs. a current beltholder named Ibragimov. Peter has one questionable win & one def. win vs. a fat former middleweight who has been on roids and should've lost his next fight against a tomato can named Batchelder.

    Never heard of him?

Neither did I until he got robbed vs. an old, out-of-shape slob named James Toney.

We can agree that Klitschko or Chagaev beat Peter, but Hasim Rahman, on 2 weeks notice, after struggling a ton with Taurus Sykes - looking slower than Peter, not throwing his jab, getting stunned by Sykes - would probably get KO'd. His chin is not terribly hard to find and Peter is so strong and so determined that he would have a field day with this Rahman. Peter hasn't KO'd a top 20 guy, but there is a first time for everything.

    "Against a beast like Peter"

You've got to be kidding me...................:rofl Who the **** has Peter fought?

Rahman has been in against far better competition, Lewis, Tua, Maskaev, Ruiz, etc.

Peter was outclassed & wobbled vs. Wlad and WK had to survive blatant fouls in the form of rabbit punches.....................

I did say that Rahman had to be in shape, which is never a given when you're talking about Rahman.

    :good

Never a given for either guy, but Peter is probably in the better shape of the two

    :rofl

Let me be the second to pick Rahman then, just as long as he's remotely in shape. I'm just not sold on Peter, in case you haven't noticed................

From the recent workout pics I've seen Peter looks like he's trainig to fight against the Pilsbury Dough Boy.....................

6,661 posts on this site. Time for a hobby. Say what you want about Sam Peter but the truth is that Maskaev wasn't gonna beat him and Rahman won't either. McCall or Virchis would be much better opponents right now.

Peter is probably 255-260 - 10 pounds too much. Rahman, however, is in his 250s as well and looks like he doesn't have much left in the tank.

I would rather see Virchis vs. Peter or McCall vs. Peter but Rahman has a good chance if he takes it seriously enough.
