Peter showed heart but he better never fight Wlad again..

    or he is getting ktfo.. not sure if wlad ruined him or his poor training has caught up w him but he has been clearly overrated

    Combination of both. Wlad gave him a beating and that is the first real heavyweight Peter beat. And I had McCline winning....

    Wait a minute, these two alreay fought, and Wlad was put on the canvas three times, Peter 0 times. Also, Wlad was KO'd by Corrie Sanders. I thought, besides at the end of the third and the 4th round, Peter fought a really good fight. He kept his composure and used a very effective jab.

    c'mon he is clearly not the same fighter. great heart and determination but i fell he is damaged goods

    He was killing McCline in round 3 and then got caught with a perfect shot with 2 seconds left. He was trying to regain his composure in round 4 and got hit with another good shot right after a clinch. Once he got his bearings back, Peter fought a good fight. McCline kept holding everytime he got hit with a good shot.

    I must agree here, if he does fight Wladimir then he'll get stopped early. Something similar to the Brewster fight or knocked out over and over in a single round, maybe even out cold anything is possible.

    i thought both were very sloppy. mccline completely gassed but has a good chin. peter was busy enough but certainly did not look like an elite calibur fighter. and boy did he get away w/ alot of rabbit punching and low blows. but like i said, peter show great character and deserves credit. mcclline came ready to fight but just didnt have enough in the tank

    Don't listen to that guy he's clearly biased, everyone who knew boxing knew before this fight Scam was all hype and would never be anything great, and this fight proves it. Wlad would destroy Scam in the rematch. Guaranteed Scam Cheater stays miles away from unification. Don King won't even let Scam Cheater in the ring with a Klitschko.

    Peter now seems really suspect to an uppercut. Unfortunately, Wlad doesn't have an uppercut in his arsenal, but I guess with some training he can at least have a McCline level uppercut. It sure seemed like every uppercut that McCline landed hurt Peter.

    Exactly, but if I was Peter I wouldn't fight Wlad next. I would go after the other Russian first.

    how is he going to avoid both klits though since vit is #1 contender. based off this performance, vitali should fight peter in his wheel chair :yep

    if u watch the brewster rematch, he did throw it several times off the jab. uncle manny would make sure peter sees a steady diet of uppercuts

    I think Wlad would beat Peter, but Wlad is the best HW so he should be able to beat any HW out there. However, Peter showed alot in this fight. Everyone wants to write this guy off, but he got off the canvas 3 times, kept his composure, and won a good fight. Everyone acts like Wlad never had to come off the canvas. Wlad has been KO'd twice, and has been KD countless other times by less talented fighters than McCline. Getting KD is not the end of the world, especially at HW.
