Dont really give much of a damn about ABC rankings. They are always subject to BS.

Harrison? Well Sam loves to eat, it should equivalent to a stop at Duncan Donuts:good

This fight is a real waste of time. I downplayed a proposed Golota matchup but thats a REAL FIGHT compared to this.

Peter needs a name/competitive match to keep him in the Championship hunt. Harrison is a ****ing unqualified, glass jawed, JOKE!!!

Peter wants a title defense with Audley Harrsion? This is a safe pick. A bit too safe.

Everybody is seeing those big ass UK arenas packed to the rafters on US airwaves now and fighters/promoters/HBO/Showtime are all gonna be trying to gets shots over there.

**** man, it how now become a serious goal of mine in life to save up the money to attend a big fight at the O2 Arena after watching Haye vs. Macca on Showtime.....As long as TFFP isn't there ****ing with me for being American. lol.

Guarantee you though, that's why D. King got ahold of Warren for one of his fighters. UK is bringing in BIG ass crowds and atmosphere at there shows and the US networks have taken note.:yep

No offense, I know you love Peter, but Harrison is a 1lb snickers bar ready to be munched:good

It doesnt even qualify as a "tune up". How would KO'ing Turdison serve any useful purpose in preparing him for a real TITLE FIGHT??

It wont in any way. :nono I want Peter to get another shot, i feel he is one of the top HW's but theres no justification for this type fight.

Honestly, Im amazed there's any signs of life left in Harrisons ridiculous pro adventure. There certainly wont be after this fight, if it happens.

This fight is obviously going to be a one sided destruction.

And Audley ain't gonna be doing the destroying.

But I don't blame Peter one bit.

He's playing it safe til his big fight with VitKlit.

If anyone's to blame for this **** fight its the WBC.

Having VitKlit in this superduper emeritus postion for the last 100 years is to blame for this fight.

If Klit the Elder wasn't in the picture than neither would Harrison.

But, since Peter has to fight VitKlit, after his long hiatus, he decided not to wait til the end of the year to fight again.

He's simply staying busy and keeping that big fat ass payday on tap.

:good thats the only reason this fight is happening. They're trying to make a quick buck off Sam Peter before they put him in with someone half-decent, I dont think his management have a lot of confidence in his ability.

Well I don't know about the cashing out part, but for a keep busy type fight to make some cash - and in front of huge crowds that looks good for the NetWorks to show their audience- the UK Arenas are going to be appearing on US televisions alot more often in the times to come, IMO.

I got no problem with a tune up fight but at least put someone decent in there. I have no problem b/c if he doesn't take one and Vitali gets hurt two weeks before the fight and has to reschedule then Peter is out of the ring something like 8 months. I prefer a fighter fight every 3 months or so, at the top level and much more if they are up and coming contenders.

this just underscores the fact that Peter is a friggin joke. He has never beaten a prime time heavy-heck Oleg had his ass in trouble, and he was way oever the hill and hadn't fought in 1.5 years. I hope fraudly KOs him. That, no, would be true comedy!

If Audley gets his chance, it'll be a message to all the young HWs out there: all you have to do is lose a few fights vs. C+/C- level competition, get KTFU in the process and let the very risk avoiding champs underestimate you - and you'll get your chance, only your or the champ's promoter has to make it sure that the organization somehow gets a place for you in their top15 rankings. That's the only chance, because if you're a mandatory (Juan Carlos Gomez), you'll never get your chance, or just a good (=risky) fighter without the mandating position, you'll be 70 before you'll get your chance.

The funny is that when his career begun, Audley got all the tools to do something big in the HW division, and you never now - in the best performance of his (pro) live, he might be able to pull a McCline on Peter and do what he always supposed to do (because he IS talented)... Not much chance though, but if he pulls it off, it will be even more horrible for boxing - a woefully undeserving fighter winning the green belt at HW...
