According to ESPN, Peter is going to fight Vitali but he will be able to have an optional defense for July. There are four rumored opponents, with Andrew Golota being clearly the strongest of the four. Who do you think Peter is going to choose?

According to ESB inside source JoeCool, Peter is going to be facing Golota. Do you think this is a wise move? Is this a dangerous fight for Peter?

Had you asked me before the Mollo fight.. I would have said, Golota MAY just have a chance of not getting sparked early because Peter is slower than a crippled 400lbs lady. But Golota somehow manages to be even slower than that, so.. it's gonna be over before the fourth round

It will be Golota, for many reasons, Don King owned fighter, very popular, he's exciting to watch, he can very easily end up an early KO victim for Peter, which would hype up the Vitali/Peter fight even more. If Peter fights in July, Golota will be his oppenent.

Golota would be nice...JD Chapman would be awful.

I think it'll be Golota. Worst case scenario, if Golota manages to upset Peter...belt stays with King.

Golota can be really tough if he stays focused, I think he has a good shot, unless, Peter rushes him, then he crumbles.

    None of the above.
I would like to see him against either Juan Carlos Gomez, who has won 2 WBC eliminators, or Chris Areola who would provide a heck of a fight.

Why does it matter? Those are the 4 Peter is considering facing. Peter isn't going to fight Briggs.

FWIW, I went with Chapman. He's the only one with the stamina to potentially outwork Peter.

It's good to see them let Peter take a fight, Peter has had to sit on the sidelines enough hopefully he will have an impressive win to build up the vitaly fight. I've ben waiting for this dam fight for years now.

    Holmes, Drummund and Chapman?!

That's horrible competition!!! Peter should be ashamed of himself.

Golota is no worse than Thompson or Austin, give Peter a break, the guy is willing to fight anyone.
