Ruiz wins, by way of THO (technical hold out)... and gets away with it.

I was actually suprised to hear Ruiz calling out Peter, in recent fights he has held less, against Valuev and Chagaev, and lost close decisions (though many felt he was robbed against Valuev). In this fight I have to imagine he would have to go back to his jab-n-grab tactics, as he can not stand in the pocket and trade with Peter. If he lasts past the early rounds, I really could see him outboxing Peter who is still lacking in the skills department.

Ruiz is currently the best American heavyweight so why not give him a shot.

Will this be for the title or just a fight?

Ruiz becomes...what is it? 3 time; 4 time champion? ****; either tying Ali or Holyfield's record.

damn i hate the sound of that. I'm one of the many people i know that do not like Ruiz's "style" of fighting. Although he has found a way to be effective and victorious, it is very hard to watch and enjoy.

On Ruiz's behalf, the Huggy Bear has began to change his style as of late to be more entertaining; and he's not doing bad with it. He gave Chagaev a decent fight; same with Valuev. He's not great but he's not bad either; I respect him more now for boxing more. He's more punch and less scrunch.

Bingo. Peter will blast that cheater out of there before he can start to hold excessively or fake a "low blow."

Even though Peter is gonna face Golota this time - I hope they feed Ruiz to him at some point. Boxing fans should not be deprived of seeing this cheating fraud starched brutally - again! :happy

If Holyfeld can manage a title shot why not Ruiz. Lets not forget Ruiz owns Holyfeld pounded him on to ***** street in the one sided second fight got robbed in first one and got a draw in the third fight most believe he clearly won. I say punt Holyfeld and give the shot to Ruiz or let him fight Peter.
