Why the hell are you trying to talk up Peters conditioning of all things? He isn't in great shape, he isn't in terrible shape, thats that. Most people predicted around 255 and that isn't far off. It is still definitely too high for a fighter of his size at his age, at 28 a professional athlete should be under 10% bodyfat.

Not to say any of this really has much bearing on the fight, as it isn't unfamiliar territory for Sam and it was roughly the expected weight, but it is stupid to pretend he is some sort of fine athletic specimen.

It is stupid to pretend he is out of shape.

This is arguably the biggest fight of his career, it probably would have been nice if he could have dropped below 250 but he isn't far over it. It is all a matter of reference, he is in decent (but not best) shape by his standards. Thats it. He most definitely isn't in the shape of a typical professional athlete, but no one ever expected that of him.

he should be at 245... like I said before, YES he performs well at the 255 but he would perform BETTER at 240-245 and considering this is the biggest fight of his career, you would think Sam and his team would have got him down in weight.

time will tell if its an issue

Even if it ends early (which i doubt) it will be a war while it lasts.
