why did golotas stock rise again??

Because he won a fight without fouling out and his name generates a lot of puzzlement, controversy, and buzz. He's certainly not boring. Ruiz is supposed to be fighting in a week or two. Who cares?

Is he a world class fighter? Not in my opinion. But since it is about (to quote a certain S. Liston) the dough-re-mi, it wouldn't surprise me that Golota will be "in the picture." At least until his usefulness expires.

but for golota to fit in, it would have to be as dire as fungus feeding on dog****.........and it aint that bad!!!

Once Golota gets out of the first round he is STILL very dangerous, I would pick Tyson, Lewis and Brewster to knock him out still- (obviously pre-retirement versions of these fighters) but Peter? Especially after nearly being knocked out by McCline, I dont think his agression is EFFECTIVE enough to knock out Golota... I think he would win an ugly decision because he has better reflexes and got off first, but if he tried his ameteurish moves that got him caught against McCline, he will get caught against Golota, and Golota doesn't gas in the 3rd round.... supposedly he doesn't even gas after 12 rounds.

Peter KO 1, probably within the first minute. Golota has no chin anymore.

 

How exactly did his stock rise? It took him six rounds to stop a guy that the great Mike Mollo destroyed in two, not to mention that TOS beat him in five rounds with MUCH less trouble than Golata had. Peter isn't anywhere near as slow as Mcbride is and if he hit Golata half as much as Mcbride did Golata would be out. There are probably some lousy contenders that Golata can beat, but Peter sure as hell isn't one of them.

 

I said ANYMORE. Getting wobbled by McBride and getting starched by Brewster in 1 are evidence enough to me that he could not handle Peter's punching power. How the hell are Tyson and Bowe fights relevant to how Golota fights now?
