If Haye was smart he could just potshot and run to win a UD but he seems to be too over confident to fight in such a manner. I'd say it will definitely end in a KO, wouldn't be surprised if Haye sparked him in the first half of the fight but if the fight went on Sam Peter would start to land some clubbing shots on Haye as he tires. Ill pick Haye for the sake of entertainment. Haye KO 6.
For the sake of the division I vote Haye by KO/TKO I mean we already seen Wlad vs. Peter let's throw another Warrior in there with Klit and see what happens.
:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl ANOTHER hysterical thread. Let's see... Haye hasn't really even moved up to HW, yet he KO's Samuel Peter inside of 5 rounds? Ohh, I'm sorry... that's the "glass jawed" Samuel Peter. The guy gets knocked down 3 times by a guy he had a week to prepare for and he has a ruptured ear drum in the fight and all of the sudden he has a "glass jaw". :rofl You just can't make this shyt up, I swear. As for my prediciton... Haye dazzles for a few rounds, gets cocky and decided to exchange in the middle of the ring and gets caught... big. His chin is tested... and fails. Peter by TKO, round 5 :yep
........although that would be entirely possible, given that Haye would probably not hold up very well if Peter did manage to chase him into a corner and land a patented, Peter caveman shot to the side or back of the head. Haye would have to do an awful lot of lateral movement, and slipping in and out to beat Peter, but I think Haye could probably pull it off.
I hope this fight happens, there won't be a backward step taken all night! However, I do think Peter is overrated. For all his much talked about strength and power, he never had James Toney in much trouble in 24 rounds, despite considerable weight advantages both times, and Jameel McCline showed he doesn't take a punch that well. It would be great while it lasted, but Haye would be too fit, too fast, and hit with too much speed and accuracy. Haye by knockout around the 5th-8th round, but he may have to get over the floor to win like he did v Mormeck.
Agree. I haven't seen anything indicating this fight is likely to happen. But its a good what if type thread.
so if david haye is favoured to beat the number 2 heavyweight in the world - look at the poll, then surely he is justified in calling out wlad im evil i know...
