It's a possibility, but if Jameel McCline can nearly knock Peter out, Haye can send him into retirement. :good
Haye has much better chance winning UD than by KO. Reality check gives you 36 to 6 in favor of Peter.
I think this fight needs to happen. It would gauge how good David Haye really is. Based off the fact that Klitschko could only pull off a UD and got knocked down 3 times was it? If David Haye Knocked Peter out or beat him by a one-sided UD, that would be pretty Epic and would make the Klitschko-Haye fight all the more appealing.
This fight comes down to one thing, chin! Both men can punch but only Peter has proven he can take it. And to be honest Haye has not even really proven he can punch at the elite heavyweight level. This would be a fun fight while it lasted but I think that Peter would get to him around the fourth or fifth round. Peter tko5 Haye
I agree with Dave on this one, they both can punch, but only Peter has proven he can take a big shot. Haye is obviously more skilled, but he doesnt have near the toughness Peter has. A big reason for Haye's success all these years, is the fact that he's really a Heavyweight, but rather weight drain himself to fight at Cruiser. Once Haye moves up, I no longer so him being the bully, if his weak chin and low guard, I could really see him turning into the prey, rather than the predator.
I would love to see this fight as well. I believe that most people have bought into the herd mentality that the Heavyweight division is the worst division in boxing. If you go through the talent in the top twenty, it's not as bad as everyone thinks; I think David Haye would have a rude awakening, just as poor Vasilly Jirov did!!
"The HypeMaker" would finally know what a real heavyweight punch feels like, after he fights Samuel. His ass got floored by Cruisers like Mock, Thompson, and Mormeck, what do you thinks going to happen when Peter lands his signature overhand right? Thats just say after a few rounds with Peter, Haye wont be doing anymore gay picture spreads for awhile.
I've seen haye fight at heavy and at cruiser. He is *much* faster at heavy than at cruiser. The ones that will be getting the rude awaking is Heavyweight division.
I doubt that, then why drop down to Cruiser if he's so much better at Heavy? While the Heavyweight division does suck, Haye could still make more money there fighting guys like Klit and Peter, it makes no sense to me. There's a reason why he has stayed at Cruiser, his chin cant take a Heavyweight punch, he has a hard enough time taking the Cruisers punches, I cant wait to see what happens when he faces a real puncher.
