I brought them up because they were ALL King fighters and Don NEVER tried to unify in almost 2 years yet you want me to believe he was serious about unification? Don wanted to control all the Heavyweight belts that is how he got Rahman as the mandatory for Klitschko after he beat 3 or 4 total bums. Don King never made any attempt to unify. None.

It never happened because Don King is full of **** he never attempted to unify his own fighters those same fighters left him with Byrd later taking King to court and Brewster saying King was ripping him off.

I will NEVER believe a thing that comes out of Don King's mouth he has robbed and ripped off way to many fighters in the last 30 years and he is a total disgrace.

Whether you believe King or not, the fact remains.....

Vitali promised to be an active champion - he wasn't.
Vitali promised to unify - he never even tried to.

This whole conversation started when you said he wanted to unify with Chagaev and Valuev. Why do you now believe that he will attempt to fight Valuev - a King fighter?

King only owns half of Valuev and only promotes his fights in the United States. Sauerland handles everything in Europe King just stands there waving his 25 flags around and smiling.

Despite Vitali saying he would unify with Valuev I am betting Wlad gets him first as if he beats Povetkin he is free of Mandatory fights for a year. Valuev is expected to fight Meehan next which if he wins paves the way for another unification fight before Chagaev is ready.

    Whatever. My point remains.

Why would you believe anything Vitali says about unifying?

if Vitali is even half of what he was this fight is going to look like Ivan Drago Vs Apollo Creed. Scam Cheater better pull a tonya harding and pay someone to take out Vitalis knee if he wants to win

Peter has one KO over a top 25 Heavyweight. Peter might win but it won't be by KO against the Iron Chinned Klitschko. All of Peter's KO's are against either class C & D fighters or Glass Jawed jokes like Jeremy Williams.

Yep. Despite my amusement about how overhyped Vitali is based on his fairly weak accomplishments, Peter is even more overhyped based on even weaker accomplishments.

If this fight actually goes ahead, I can't see Peter winning unless he catches Vitali with a few flush back-of-the-head shots.
