It depends on how well Vitali can come back after 3 and half years without being hit by a solid punch, and if his sparring sessions are going as bad as I read, I see Peter getting to him and knocking him out. Will all remember when a amazing fighter like Tyson came back after 3 and half years of inactivity, he was never the same, I see a similiar fate for a lesser fighter than in Vitali.

Assuming Vitaly is even remotely close to the resemblance of himself prior to retirement, he will Tko Peter. If not, objectively speaking anything is possible even Peter by KO.

Stop believing to spammers on this board or another. Have you seen a footage of him being floored. Have you even seen a footage of him just sparring?

It all depends on Vitali's shape, Peter has really no say in this. If Vitali is anything other than totally shot Peter cannot beat him without without getting lucky (meaning injury). Peter is exactly the kind if guy Vitali would have a field day with.

I can tell you where to find the article where it gives a full discription of Vitali getting floored by two sparring partners, one being Travis Walker and the other guy I never heard of, I read the article both on ESB and on another site that talks boxing, I could tell you where to go to find the article if your interested, just let me know.

Are you talking about his weight? Yes. Sparring, most likely not. Because in the latest interview I read with him he stated that he is glad of knowing who his next opponent is, after the Maskaev/Peter fight, so he can start preparations.

If Vitali fought a couple of tune-up fights first I think he'd batter Peter. But first fight after four years, against a top 2 or 3 HW? He's going to get tko'd. Ringrust is ringrust. Ask Maskaev.

I do not need an article written by god knows whom. If you have a footage, I will gladly accept it as an evidence. Otherwise, please stop spreading spam on this board.

this is bull crap. Vitali was never floored in sparring. He did however hurt his knee vs Travis Walker...but thats a huge difference from being floored. Sparring rumors are just that.

i for one hope that Peter wins. not because i think he a better fighter. two things. none of us want to go through another Vitali vs Hasim type thing. which is very possible. plus it will hinder us seeing a true unified champ because the two bros have always stated that they would not fight each other.

Get real, of course there's not going to be footage of a sparring session, the article was written by a trainer that was in the gym when the knockdowns took place, the Travis Walker knockdown was the one that made Vitali mess up his leg on the way down, leading to the last cancellations he had with Rahman. I know you love Vitali, but if you read the article you will it's very legit, but I guess you just cant handle the truth.

Until I see Vitali get through training camp and weigh-in, I'm not choosing anything.
