:smoke PETER is grossly underrated latley ! fact is he has proven to be able to comeback and win in a fight where he has been dropped hard ! He has proven the ability to absorb tremendous punishment and still remain dangerous ! And he has only been outboxed by a guy who appears to be able to do that to anyone ! hes a tough fight for anyone at anytime ! And he isnt a good choice for a comeback fight for an inactive fighter ! :bbb

    Sam Peter by knockout!

Vitlay won't be able to twist and turn to avoid punches, and his footwork pre-retirement was already awful.

Expect a more stationary Vitlay to eat some bombs and probably quit because his hand hurts or his back is broken.

It is so hard to tell what Vitali is going to be like. He will be about 4 years removed from the ring. If Vitali is anything like his old self... I don't think that you could have a computer generate a fighter that is any more taylor made for Vitali. However, as it stands with 4 years out of the ring and some major surgeries... it is impossilbe to tell.

It sort of sucks for Peter, because if he wins... nobody will really know what sort of Vitali he was up against. Vitali might have been in top form, but nobody will be able to tell if Vitali loses. That's just the way it goes. Yet, if Peter loses to Vitali it is even worse for him. Had Vitali stayed active, and not had injury issues, I don't think that the age itself would have been a huge deal. However, seeing how banged up his body was at 32-33 years of age... it surely can't be any better at 37.

    Depends on Vitali.

Is Vitali has become truly old and not the same fighter. Peter wins, if Vitali resembles his old self Vitali wins.

If Vitali can actually make it through training camp and is 85% of what he was in 2004, he will batter Peter in a one sided stoppage.

I would say even a 100% Vitlay has the fight of his life, similar to the fight against an aging Lewis.

Look at the attributes here involving the two. For one, Sam Peter is not going to sit along the ropes like Sanders. He won't give Vitlay that sort of space.

Two, Sam takes a helluva shot, so he isn't going to be as easy to hurt as Johnson or Williams. And from what I understand Vitlay hurt his hand against Williams. Vitlay is even more one dimensional than his brother Waldo. He uses exclusively that right hand in close and on the outside. A right hand is the kind of punch that simply won't trouble Samuel.

Three, Sam is significantly younger than Vitlay, and also significantly younger than all three of Vitlay's best beaten opponents during his prime.

If Sam comes in at around 245, with a high guard and keeps low, pumping an aggressive jab I think he even gives a prime Vitlay a go for his money. Now the Vitlay we are likely to see won't even be 100%. So diminished upper body movement, or a fragile right hand will make this an even tougher bout for him.

I'll say this right now. If Vitlay does beat Sam Peter he deserves major respect. Not only would he beat a fighter who is more aggressive than Sanders, but one who takes a much bigger shot than both Johnson and Williams, all three of Vitlay's best wins. And it would come about some 3 and a half years after retirement.

Depends on Vitali. I am taking a wait and see approach to this fight.

There is a better chance of Vitali not actually making it to the ring than any of the poll options.

Easy fight for Vitali. Peter is a stationary target. He will get jabbed to death and then Klitschko will drown him in the 7th or 8th round.

I want to see Peter vs Haye. Haye KO2 Peter
Vitali will likely get injured walking into the ring, the man is fragile now.

Depends on both fighter, Not a single person can predict what may exactly happen, as anything can happen inside the ring. Can be an upset or a plain victory.

Both fighters are good and has lots of talents, the outcome will only depend by how the fighters prepare and fight at the fight night.

    Hysterical thread.

72% pf people here think Vitaly Klitschko will beat Samuel Peter when he hasn't fought in almost 4 years, is damaged goods with serious injuries and is almost 38 years old. He hasn't shown the least bit of ability to get through more than a week or so of a training camp and people think this guy is going to just come back and destroy Samuel Peter.

    Laughable.

I think people are really not thinking logically here, but rather... only with their heart. :deal

You have half the people that think Vitali will come back and fight like he did in 04, the other half are Klit nuthuggers, that obviously hate Peter and wish him the worst because he's the strongest threat to Wlad in the division, if Vitali knocks him off, problem solved, if Peter beats Vitali, Vitali was washed up anyways, it's really I no win situation for Sam Peter.

:smoke MCCLINE has plenty of power when he sits down on his punches ! And consider the fact that PETER took him lightly and on short notice and the problem is compounded ! VLAD hits harder then VITALY and Im sure you remember that fight ! :good
