I'd refrain from saying it wasn't good to begin with. Being KOed by Wlad and Helenius can happen to anyone. Wlad's one of the hardest punchers in boxing history and Helenius is no slouch himself.

He came up against a big puncher. Very overweight i may had, Peter's movement is pretty much non existent. It was bound to happen again...

This is a distinct possibility. Perhaps many of us - myself included - overestimated Peter's punch resistance. I do think, however, that it HAS declined noticeably, even if it was not as good as some of us once thought.

All joking aside I believe Peter's chin was shattered against Wladimir in the first fight. He took too many right hands & thhe only reason he didn't go down was because he saw them coming. As they say, the punch you don't see is the one that usually KO's you............which is why that left hook from Wlad at the end of the fight almost had Peter out. After thhat Peter was knocked down 3 times by Jameel McCline, beaten into quitting by Vitali, pummeled again by Wladimir in the second fight & now knocked the **** out by Helenius........................

    Once it's cracked it don't come back..............:tired

True. Peter was coming off a brutal beating from Wlad too. Who knows what cobwebs remained from that beating. Similiar story for Lamon Brewster, he got brutally beaten by Wlad & went on to get KO'd easier by Helenius.

He doesn't have any stamina at that weight. Endurance had more to do with it than his chin did. that was a great shot, too.

I never thought Peter had an Iron Chin but he had a very good one and now it is clear it has been Shattered too many times. We have seen that it is possible for a fighter with a once very solid Chin to become essentially Glass Jawed over time. Same thing happened to Margarito.

Margaritos chin may have deteriorated but to label it glass is completely obsurd/******ed.

Furthermore Margarito is essentially a smaller version of Peter no skills etc. Mosley shattered Margarito's Chin in brutal fashion. Iron Chinned fighters don't get KOed like that. Didn't happen to LaMotta, Chuvalo, or McCall and all three of those guys fought way past their best. Margarito sucks.

You rank him on the same level as haye?

Hating on wlad a bit that considering this is due to be the biggest fight of his career.
