He needs a KO win BADLY!

Tonight is a golden opportunity - he has to capitalize on it.

He did not KO Robert Hawkins after the UD loss to Klitschko. He hit McCline flush and in the end McCline was on his feet to hear the final bell. I dont know, tonight should make or break Peter.

While that is true, you must look at the competition he has fought over the last 1 and 3/4, he was off for 9 months waiting for Maskeav, he fought a extremely tough guy to knockout in Toney, and took a fight against Mccline on short notice, finally he will fight a oppenent tonite, that he's fully prepared for, and doesnt have a an iron chin.

Yep, I have mention this several times but it won't matter against BrokeBack Oleg!

    Peter is a C- fighter.

thats a half truth. Peter was already scheduled to fight Maskaev so he should have been in shape...but he never is in shape. and McCline was also supposed to fight Vitali. so both were facing guys they weren't training for. the truth is Peter should have been ko'd if McCline was in any kind of shape. the truth is Peter has one ko in his last 6 fights and thats Julius Long.....big whoop. and the ko he had before that: Taurus SYkes...big deal.

 You're right now that I think about it...

Virchis hits harder than Peter. With one punch, he might be the hardest puncher in the heavyweight division. But he needs a stationary target, which is why I'm leaning towards Juan Carlos Gomez.

I understand both men fought each other on short notice, but the advantage usually favors the challenger most of the time. I'm not going to be delusional and buy into the fact Peter broke both of his hands in sparring, and slipped on the ring cover, because he did get caught in the 2nd round with some very hard punches, but he showed great heart and was able to continue on in the fight and outbox his oppenent to the final bell.

Sam Peter is one of the best Heavyweights out there when he's fully prepared, I hope tonite he proves to some of the haters what some of us fans already know.:good
