He needs to prepare to fight an man with an iron chin, big. punchn power, good defence, and counterpunching ability. The guys peter choose dont bring those attributes.

The McCline who fought Valuev is very close to Vitali

Name me a current fighter who fits that description in the heavyweight division that has the height of Klitschko?

I take it you probably be referring to someone in the top ten that would be available to spar with Peter at the moment, and a fighter who would be willing to do so???

He is working with fighters who fit the stature of Klitchko. Simple.

Jameel McCline is a good sparring partner. He can help Peter practice repeatedly falling to the canvass, just like he did when they fought. Just like he will do when he fights Vitali.

    Not bad choices, but still.

I can't root for either Peter or Vitali, though whoever wins, good for them.

When it comes to these sparring partners (Long and McCline), that's when you can say for Peter.... it was the best of times, it was the worst of times.

I am pretty sure McCline is Povetkin's chief sparring partner for his fight with Wladimir, which will take place about a month after Peter's with Vitali, I simply cannot see them letting him go to Peter.

I think McCline's biggest future career event will be everyone one of either Klitschko's opponents' sparring partner.

He also comes across as one of those fighters who is much better in the gym than in a fight. He always made a bit of a nervous impression to me, even against Byrd whom he dwarfed.

If Povetkin was smart, he would use Lennox as a sparring partner, but I think Lennox might Ko him, and the fight would be delayed too long. But, I couldn't imagine Lennox wanting to be a sparring partner, can't afford him, and also I couldn't imagine Lennox going against Steward. I bet they are like father and son. Lately, the way Steward and Wlad have been, they seem like father and son. Great team together.

Wanna bet on that? Peter had a ruptured eardrum in the McCline fight BTW

Samuel should have had two of his best friends there with him, but they are involved in the same tournament ... Duncan Dokiwari and Cisse Salif...

Vitaly is gonna rupture more than his eardrum.
