Peterson - Cherry fight off!!

I really don't see them going out of there way to find a replacement for the "opponent" which is what Cherry was. Now if it was Cherry that pulled out then I can see them finding a replacement to keep Peterson on the card.

 

Damn . . . there goes another good fight. :-( :huh

 

This was the fight I was looking foward to besides cotto's match

 

According to Boxrec they've put in Maureen Shea (female, Irish, etc.) in a woman's match.

MEH. Would've rather they matched Cherry against a random journeyman, or something. All I know is that the card is singnificantly worse for it. :?

 

Dissapointing news. I thought Cherry made a real good step-up fight for the Peterson kid.

 

I was looking foward to this fight. Peterson looks promising and Cherry would have been a good step up for him. I'd like to see them reschedule this for a later date. Unfortunately, the ppv took a hit with this. I personally was on the fence about ordering but now the card just doesn't seem too appealing.

 

It appears that there are more and more fights being called these days.
