Put on a suberb performance after a difficult start to bully Khan and to snatch it on the cards, just some thoughts from last night. Thought the referee was shocking for not taking points off of both guys, i've seen guys get away with far worse than what Khan was doing, if the ref was going to be tough when enforcing the rules then he should have at least been fair. Both guys were guilty of fouls yet only one was getting penalised. Khan is one classless guy and i dont think i can truly support someone who disrespects his opponent to the extent he did during the interview. Acting as if he got robbed when the fight could have gone either way is shocking, couldnt even admit his own shortcomings in the ring and his skillset in general. I cannot say how happy i am for Peterson, showed true grit and heart to pound out a close decision and was classy enough to give Amir credit after the fight, i hope the rematch doesnt happen straight away, he should be allowed to build on this victory and the progress he has shown since the Bradley fight. Amir can bounce back but he needs to work hard to rectify some of his glaring faults. His footwork in particular was poor, he always chose the wrong moment to stop and trade and the wrong moment to dance away and give Peterson room. Someone needs to have a quiet word with him about the stupid bravado he shows "yes Amir you can take a reasonable punch, now stop standing in front of the other guy and taking punches for no reason". Anyway well done Peterson on a well deserved victory.:good
