I've said countless times that the whole debacle about this man and the excuses is all bs, let Lamont enjoy being a champ, Khan should focus on his career etc etc. I don't think it's about Peterson getting one back on Khan or anything. They're too classy for that. Their reply to the cancelling of the hearing was a very happy response and his man, Barry just said that they've got to pick what's right for Lamont, and now with the hearing that Lamont is going to appeal against the WBA rematch, makes me question whether they want it. Don't think it's about the way that team Khan have put themselves forward since the fight at all. I can't blame Peterson and his team, but it's disappointing. You would have expected a rematch.
Getting tired of this now. We're heading towards February, and none of major players from 140-147 - JMM, Pac, Floyd, Khan, Peterson, Bradley, etc - are close to announcing their next opponent. All ifs and buts. It's crazy how just two names - Pac and Floyd - can hold the boxing world hostage. If Peterson's not gonna' fight Khan next, then fine. Just announce it already. It'll force Khan to just move on and fight some other decent opponent.
I like Amir you clueless ****. I Will support him in almost any fight. But he is an idiot to himself out of the ring. There'll be a rematch at some point. If Peterson decides he want to play games first though I wouldn't blame him.
Ducks Khan? What? How can not fighting someone he's already beaten who doesn't have a title and go and fight an undefeated WBO champ who he's already lost against be ducking anyone?atsch
My take on this aswell. PAC and Floyd need to make their minds up, lots of fighters around the weight are crossing their fingers that they get picked to get their big payday. Khan got a bone to pick with Peterson, so when these two top guys Floyd and PAC pick their partners then some business can get done, these two guys holding **** up.
