I can't honestly say I know enough about testosterone levels to understand if he had an edge on Khan when they fought. It's a little early to declare him RJJ, or Holyfield. But he used a banned substance, so at the very least, I gotta put him in the same category as Casamayor. The only difference is that we know Joel didn't gain an edge over Bradley in their fight because he looked like ****. I'll reserve further judgement for when the scientists and the commission figure everything out.
The Nevada commission looked at what Pederson submitted and had it reviewed by their medical personnel. They refused to license Peterson and felt they had enough evidence to advise the DC board to change the first fight to a NC. Not much else left unless you are willing to believe Pederson who has already been caught in a lie.
can you imagine if it was khan failing the test I liked LP but common, some of you guys have so much hate for Khan, it's just ridiculous He isn't a cheat?, taking an illegal substance wether it helped or not is against the rules
Please Kragz just consider Dwyer's opinion as a scond opinion from a complete stranger online and please keep on following your own: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7BFbYF73aWU[/ame] Thank You.
Whos knows what advantage it gave him, it must be doing something if he was using it, why dont u try a few of these pellets and see what happens, they may be GREAT stuff, they are banned, u dont forget u used em and u dont not declare this stuff, its crazy, his story if so full of holes, going to a quack in vegas LOL, u couldnt make this up, if khan was with power pellets in his groin it would be WWIII here, the whole site would be on a rage Whats scary is that he almost got away with it and im sure there are others out there cycling this stuff out of their systems better than peterson did, he got caught at the press conference LOL, crazy stuff
Wow... I can't believe some of you here are actually still defending Peterson, after everything that has come to light... either some of you guys must really, really hate Khan or you must really love Peterson.
If Pacquaio was caught using the same illegal testosterone, you would be making threads about he should be banned for life. I am not even a fan of Pacquaio but I'm just saying Pacquaio gets more hate for his PED use than someone who has been caught with something Illegal in his system. Also people same to hate Khan so much that they aren't mad about what happened.
Well yeah, he did use a banned substance. He broke the rules and should be penalized as such. I don't see too many disagreeing with that overall sentiment. I really just meant I'll reserve complete judgement of him until there's more definitive answer as to whether he had an edge in the first fight. If he did, than he should be scrubbed from the history of boxing altogether. If not, let him go the Maragarito route and have people relish in watching him get beaten. Or banish him from boxing forever (which I think would have been the righteous judgement in the Margs case).
At the highest levels not much separate guys. His testosterone level was 4 times higher than normal. The doc didn't bring him back to 1:1. The only way DC doesn't call this a No Contest is corruption. That is why the Nevada went on public record about what DC should do. It puts the heat on them. There was just so much wrong in that first decision that this HAS to be the icing on the cake.
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7xifsvxDT0[/ame] Victor conte on the ratio, this shud answer ur questions.
Sorry man. You don't walk that close to the line. If he needed this for medical reasons? He would have reported it. If he was cheating and thought he could get away with it? He would hide it. He didn't report it for the first fight. He didn't report it for this fight. Makes no sense. If it was a mistake? Fine. Strip him and he should be able to do it all again.
That's assuming he didn't artificially boost his epitestosterone level as well to keep his T/E ratio under the acceptable 4:1 ratio. Also, a 4:1 T/E ratio is considered acceptable by VADA, but that doesn't make it "normal". Most healthy adult males have a T/E ratio around 1:1. His 3.7:1 T/E ratio actually puts him inside the top 5% of athletes according to studies. [ame]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epitestosterone[/ame]
For anyone who thinks Peterson wasn't trying to gain an advantage, I have an email here from a Nigerian prince who's looking to offload a couple of million quid. Give me your email address and I'll forward it on to you, it's win-win.
