Before the Holt fight he hadn't fought in over a year, the man has paid his dues.

But anyhow yeah this is a great double header if it does happen.

 

Apparently this as well as De Leon vs Mares?

GBP are stepping it up..

 

Good fight but why is GBP trying to keep Garcia away from Matthysse? I understand Garcia has a fight pending with Zab but GBP better match Garcia vs Matthysse assuming they both get past there respective opponents.

 

Matthysse deserves to fight the real champ, Danny Garcia. Golden Boy is obviously protecting him.

 

Look at these two meat heads. Do the math. Matthysse would likely have to wait about 6 moths from now, to when a Danny Garcia showdown would occur. He could either wait, or he could make money and possibly pick up a strap. Which in doing, would force himself on Garcia as the only other legitimate champion at light welter.

 

Matthyse-Peterson is great matchmaking.
Still cant understand why Peterson didn't receive any punishment for cheating, or did he?

 

Why do people see Garcia as a tougher opponent than Peterson for Matthysse? Don't see it that way at all.

 

I truly believe Peterson-Mattyhsee are the two best LWW at the moment. It's unfortunate it won't be for the linear title. I also believe the goal is for one of them to beat the other so Garcia would not have to face both.

I am not high on Garcia. He's an example of a guy that wins the title, & than they give him a couple of handpicked title defenses before he loses again

 

Doubt Garcia would fight Peterson anyway. Angel would probably blab on about PEDs or something.
