no its not a valid point. its a dumb thing to say. There plently of reasons Khan should fight Prescott but already beating a big puncher is not one of the. Silly arguement.

I've already f'n explained to you why it's a valid point. Prescott is a **** fighter with a big punch. Khan is no longer impervious to **** fighters with big punches, he beat a good fighter with a bigger punch.

Simple as. Prescott brings NOTHING. as Beeston advised you to, take a day off pal, your rankings have ****ed your head up today:D:good

I never said the fight wasn't a valid proposition, from a money-making point of view.

I was just questioning the point made in the opening post about Khan fearing Prescott, and I thought there was no reason he would fear him because he'd just taken on and beat a much higher-level banger in Maidana.

    Comprende?

You may think Khan has some serious mental demons from the KO itself, but from an actual pure boxing point of view there is absolutely no reason Khan would fear a return with Prescott.

Sky must be pissed off hence the reason why Khan got a slightly hard time on Saturday.

Sky were pushing for Haye-Wlad but couldn't accommodate because Khan was PPV in April.

Now Khan is still waiting for a credible opponent and we are still no closer to getting the fight we all want to see!!

well done Sky, you dropped a bollock on this one!

Haye-Wlad wasn't going to happen, Khan vs. TBA had nothing to do with it. Sky would tell Khan to take a hike if they actually thought the Wlad-Haye fight was going to be made.

Boxing is man vs man and in this case Prescott beat Khan. Given that it is a voluntary defence I would like to see him do something that can help his legacy and restore some sense of invincibility. No matter what, in such an egotistical sport where machismo is everything, that aura of invincibility is very real.

Well according to the WBA (Khan has the WBA belt by the way) McCloskey is higher ranked...also higher ranked by the WBC...not that it matters too much...Khan will fight whoever (apart from Prescott) will accept the lowest purse and cause him least risk for this fight.
