I think Roach still thinks Khan is capable of getting knocked out by Prescott.

Remember who made the Maidana fight.

khan stating mccloskey and murray are not a ppv fighters fair enough but they will have me believe khan was against presscott, although it was worth £15:rofl:rofl

You are 'the rumour guy' you can't pull someone else up for it mate, that would be like me needing someone to substantiate their claim that previous eras of boxing were superior

Short term- Does the Prescott fight get him prepared for Tim Bradley either stylistically or in terms of levels? Hell no. Mid-term- wants to move up and fight PBF, does Prescott asks anywhere near the questions that Floyd would? Heeeeell no. Long term- would getting revenge over Prescott give his legacy a boost? Yea sure a bit, but hes a beaten a better banger and the fights to come will sculpt his career more than this revenge mission.

Simple boxing economics risk-reward, in this case neithers that high so why bother. Dont reckon Prescott sells significantly better than Ortiz/Zab fight. Judah would have been more of a test, a proven name albeit faded and is closer to bradleys style. Also has fought Floyd so theres common ground.

Fact is revenge against a guy levels beneath Khan beaten twice in between does not carry the same clout as the previously mentioned Lewis-Rahman/McCall who at least fought and won at the highest level

hes not got the best beard in the world but he ate a few from maidana and stayed on his feet after a full flush wild hook (a maidana special) .id say unless a top guys got a great beard like just for examples sake vitali klit there just as likely to get knocked out as khan is

people cant keep harping on about his chin , he proved its worth in his last fight in the biggest way he could

I think think his punch resistance is weak compared to most top level fighters. Any reasonable puncher than catched him had the chance to knock him out. Maidana just didn't take/wasn't allowed to take that chance.

I agree, although he has learned some serious survival skills, there's only so many times he'll be able to just get through.

Impressive on the night, but not great for his long-term prospects.

Yes and it be nieve to forget Cortez involvment.

The difference between the shots he took agaisnt Prescott and Maidana were the rounds they took place. In round 1 Prescott is fresh, his punches are hard and Khan is not warmed up. He got caught cold.

Agaisnt Maidana he gets caught when Maidana is barley able to get of his stool to start the round. Maidana is unable to capitalize due to being nackerd and the body shot he took early has taken allot out of him. Khan has stronger legs and better conditioning.

But still. He got hit to the left side of his head, just like he did agaisnt Watson, Drizlaine, Limmond, Gomez, and Prescott and he did a silly dance. anyone with a good right hook can knock Khan out.
