    I think you're being harsh on him. Maidana got his second wind by then, and Amir took bombs from him that he'd usually throw, he's never been anything than a sloppy, whirlwind type of finisher and Amir just about squeekes through, even though it was detrimental to his performance in all the championship rounds IMO, not good.

    Khan got the best of Maidana.

    watch from round 9 on. Maidana could barley get out of his stool.

    So Khan having done a good job on him means he wouldve got stopped if he hadn't performed as well up to that point? A fighter has extra gears he can go into, Maidana managed to throw **** loads of punches, Amir survived it. He was also hit in earlier rounds when Maidana was fresher, the body shot was after an early chasing session from El Chino.

    Amir kept his composure. It showed up flaws in his skillset rather than his ability to hang on. His chin is not great by any means but nor is Maidana. That's why he didn't get him out of there.
