You think there isnt a damn good reason the likes of Ward, Broner, Mayweather etc would never fight outwith the US?

 

Why what reason do you think that would be I know Roy Jones said he would never fight in Germany cus of the steroid problem there then he turns around and test positive for roids himself :-(

 

They wouldnt get exposed if a sample came up positive etc :deal

 

They get paid more money to fight in the U.S.

 

Maybe but also there is no real reason for them to fight outside the US if they are trying to make big money, I mean what could Broner draw in Europe right now? he cant draw **** really here at home in terms of seats.

wouldnt make sense for allot of these guys to fight out there they would end up criticized for fighting a Euro Bum likely not make the same kind of money I am not sure how the tax system works there but thats likely an issue as well

at the end of the day if I am fighting on that level getting those kinds of purses I am going to do everything I can to maximize my gross earnings regardless of what people think in the end I am the one getting hit in the end nobody will be there for me when its all said and done.

But to answer your question, I do think he should have been stripped of his win (turned to a NC) and his title when he was caught doping. The fact that he wasn't is disappointing and highlights much of what's wrong in boxing. No matter what nationality he is.
