This isnt an anti British question but why is it that British fighters have less punch resistance than wet toilet paper?
Nobody wants to answer that it seems :yep Tell me .... why do you think so few fans attend fights on US soil? :huh
I doubt he would. The fact of the matter is, the live gate is almost inconsequential these days. It's all about the network dollars. The liscensing fee that these networks dole out are providing a ton more revenue than the live gate. If a guy like Ward fights overseas, that liscensing fee from HBO is going to drop. The extra revenue from the live gate won't mean much anyway as the home fighter would get pretty much all of that money. None the less, if Bute or Kessler or Froch's promoter could provide Ward more money to lure him to their fighter's backyard, then it's a done deal.
Do you even know how much Ward is getting paid? Or what his difference in pay would be if he fought overseas?
Bradley Witter Mayweather Hatton Tyson Bruno Tarver Woods Ward Froch what whooping are you referring to
well you have Lewis over Holyfield and Tyson as significant title fights thats 2 where is the large domination you seem to be pulling out of the air
Who knows man you guys have been killing it lately This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected
And? How much would HBO put up for Ward vs. Froch or Ward vs. Kessler? It's simple economics. If Kessler or Froch's promoter can put together a financial package together to get Ward to fight overseas that is more lucrative than what he would get for fighting in the States, then it's a done deal. I personally don't think Kessler or Froch even want to fight Ward again. Both were beat pretty comprehensively by Ward.
I believe the answer is because it wasn't a state commission test, so they had no reason to change the outcome of the fight or ban him etc...
Simple. Boxing isnt as big in the US as it used to be. No shortage of fans at football games here though :good
