Yup, Barry Hunter's a smart man. If he does sign with Top Rank, Arum would have a handful of decent 140 opponents at his disposal - Rios, Bradley, Alvarado and Peterson. It wouldn't surprise me if these guys are used in a 4-man tournament to earn the right for a mega payday against Pacquiao (who'll be settling the score with JMM in June, maybe). Which of course means the Mayweather fight is even further away from happening.

I actually hope it isn't true as I don't care much for Pac - Peterson. I thought Peterson won and didn't see a great deal of contreversy. Khan was repeatedly warned and should have taken notice. He was beaten by the better man that night and his performance, at times, was sloppy. I like Khan, but don't feel he's won many fans with the manner he's dealt with this defeat.

The only reason I'd like to see a rematch is because the first fight was entertaining. If Khan had won a close decision you can bet a turtle's wink he'd be trying secure a Mayweather fight. Peterson has worked hard and deserves to enjoy his time as champion and some big paydays.
