:deal This. Kon blamed everything and everyone else for the loss but himself.

If an investigation should happen then let it be into how one judge outrageously scored it to Khan by 5 rounds despite having 2 points deducted! If that isn't stone cold proof of rotten, bent, corrupt judging on behalf of Goldenboy then I don't know what is.

Its cringeworthy. I thought he won quite clearly but the way he's behaved since has alienated many of his fans. Changing the result will have dire consequences for the sport and I hope to god it doesn't happen.

Looks like the WBA will force Peterson to fight Khan in a rematch, something Peterson fears, he has done everything to keep from fighting a rematch. What will Peterson do without his personal referee? That fight was a disgrace. So, why not a rematch? What does Peterson and his fans fear? Khan will knock Peterson out in a rematch.................

The wba have snctioned a rematch acording to Sky Sports

Amir Khan has been granted an "immediate rematch" with Lamont Peterson by the WBA following his controversial loss.

Khan lost a spilt decision - as well as his WBA and IBF light-welterweight titles - to the American in Washington in December.

However, the fight was dogged in controversy with Khan docked two points for pushing by referee Joe Cooper, while a "mystery man" - later identified to be Mustafa Ameen - was seen at ringside appearing to handle the scorecards.

Khan also claims he was told he had won the fight only for the Peterson to be awarded the decision after a long wait for the result.

    Thrilled

Khan's promotional team Golden Boy had appealed the decision to both the WBA and IBF - wanting the bout to be declared a "no-contest" and for a rematch to be ordered.

The WBA have made the first move by agreeing to a rematch, with the IBF - to whom Ameen is affiliated - will make a decision next week.

Golden Boy Promotions' Richard Schaefer, who represents Khan, told ESPN.com: "The WBA ordered an immediate rematch. I'm thrilled that he's getting one and hope we can start the negotiations and get the fight done.

"Amir and Lamont are both terrific young men and athletes who fought their hearts out in Washington in December and I'm sure this decision will get applause by fight fans around the world.

"The rematch will be one of the most anticipate fights of 2012 because both guys are exciting, young and I think it's exactly the kind of fight people want to see."

Khan needs to realise that shipping loads of shots to prove you have a chin does not win you rounds.

Maybe there was some dodginess, and in another town and another ref, Khan wouldve been able to push away, PBF does it a plenty.

But he still got punched in the face and body a lot, and that has nothing to do with men in hats or the ref.

If the bodies feel and are presented with enough evidence to suggest the fight deems to be a N.C then who are we to argue?

I doubt Khan is seriously expecting the result to be overturned. Schaefer practically admitted this.

As unprofessional as all of this is, I think it's just to put pressure on for a rematch. If Peterson keeps his win and titles but a second fight is ordered, I think Khan's lot will be happy with that.

Talking about the N.C comes from GBP, I am yet to hear that coming from Khan himself, I think he would be just happy if Peterson agree's to a rematch or if the bodies order it.

Now Peterson is with TR the rematch won't happen.

Nevermind, now the two best are likely to be tied up/move up to 147, Khan can win his belts back again :-(

If a rematch is enforced, Peterson is going to have to fight to keep his belts. Without them, he's not going to be attractive for Arum as a cash cow.

I'd like to think Khan would comprehensively beat him in a re-match leaving Arum looking like a clown.

I feel bad for Peterson. He deserves the title.. He fought his heart out and made Khan look like a fool.

I've lost respect for Khan, what a *****

It will be a fascinating rematch, to see if Khans learned how to fight on the inside and plant his feet more rather than running away like a clown... I hope Peterson trains extra hard, and ****s him up..
