No, samples are from the May 19th fight testing, but Lamont's people have told NSAC commsioner Kizer that he used Testosterone pellets before the first fight (so testosterone was picked up for second fight testing was still in sysytem/hadn't cycled out of body) - but they haven't provided a reason as to why they used them and even if they do, weren't they aware of the ramifications? James Toney ruiz situation all over again.

Are you gonna believe the excuse of a possible cheat, he got popped on a random test failed, and made sure he flushed his system for the second, his team admitting it instead of letting the B sample clear them, which basically killed the fight and ended Lamonts career

Steroids can stay in your ssytem for up to 6 months. . .

    It was more than two weeks. march 19th, to april 13th - that's almost a month (3 weeks). . . That's perfectly feasible. . .

I don't believe he was juicing for the rematch because he did request the tests. . I think he did for the first fight, and was trying to be underhand slick by requesting them this time around, thinking Khan might try something to get an edge for the rematch. . .

Unbelievably dumb move there. His team is supposed to be smarter than he is, but they seem of the same level. They've practically invalidated his win.

:deal 100% agreed. Peterson has always been so easy to root for, and I, along with many fans, gave him so much good will. I was so happy for him when he beat Khan, now I feel suckered.

damn I wanna hold off judgement til more comes out cause i like Peterson, his backstory and his remarkable rise to the top from nothing but if Peterson is guilty he needs a serious ban!! Just further proof that advanced testing in necessary in this sport that is full of dirty athletes

Does it seem like Peterson's attorney should be fired? WTF is he telling this to them for?

Do you know cycle times, masking agents, etc for this? Sounds like he might not have expected the testing to start at the press conference.

Peterson's attorney is flying out to Nevada - they gonna play the for ''medical reasons'' for unspecified medical condition game, if so, Toney was the WBA heavyweight champ and shouldn't have been stripped! Fact remains, they knew what is allowed and prohibited, they cant feign ignorance, did Koulo Toure get off when he blamed his wife's slimming pills or Contador?

peterson always looked slight...very thin and lean against ortiz, then he came in looking like a bull against khan. Came in the ring at 155 i remember. Even then he still only legitimately won maybe four rounds...Even with the point deductions khan still should have won 115-113. Thats why i really would have no problems with khan getting handed his titles back.

    Good riddance lamont peterson!!
