peterson did have a good late rally, but still i think ortiz shouldve won. close fight but ortiz shouldve got the nod
to have it 95-93 for Peterson is strange. The fight was close and Ortiz was horribly off balance at times. But I still that he won it.
how did ortiz only win 4 rounds thats not right he clearly took atleast 5 from first 7, he edged 2, even if it was close the 2 ko's should have given him the decision.
I thought each won 5 rounds, which would make it a clear win for Ortiz. However, I have no idea what Ortiz was doing but he gave the fight away.
Ortiz should have got him out of there when he had the chance. For someone who was built up as this generations de la Hoya or Shane Mosley he wasted a chance they wouldn't have. He has share some of the blame for the outcome of this fight. I thought it was a clear Ortiz win however.
Damn I just saw the last two rounds. How was the fight? For those saying Ortiz won, was it a robbery?
ah, so....i see now the beauty of being a slick boxer, despite the running and ducking, the grab and hold and furtive hooks during a ref break up, yah get the decision when a draw, a draw when you actually loose...interesting.
Just got done watching Mares-Darchynian and grabbing a drink so I missed Peterson-Ortiz. Is it worth checking out?
Ortiz whipped his ass for basically the whole fight. How can you not score for the guy who's the aggressor, who's landing all the hard, clean punches, and dictating the action? I don't understand how I, or anyone else who scored it wide, can be an "idiot"...
