i think peterson needs to apply the pressure earlier to negate the early rounds khan won. start the pressure earlier an keep it up over 12 rounds i think he will make khan quit. cant hav a flash knockdown early. khan fight in a way he gets tired down the stretch. peterson has to jump on him early pin him to the ropes and beat him down for the first six. if he does this khan will be done in the second half. and he has to keep it up for the next six to secure a win.
I think the rematch is a very winnable fight for Lamont, he now knows how to beat Khan and more importantly that he can pull the style off
Better stamina, More Pressure, and just hope that little fruit cake decides to fight instead of running, hugging, pushing, and trying to get a blow job, like a freaking sissy boy girl.
Not sure Peterson can keep that up for 12 rounds. And not sure he will have he same will to do it as he did in his home town. But then with Barry Hunter in his corner, who knows. .. ..... THE JAB I gots ta have it.
I can still see this fight going either way. I believe Khan and Roach will work hard to counter Peterson's inside work. Peterson showed how to beat Khan, and an ability to adapt. But I don't see him being able to out box Khan straight up. 50/50 this time, last time I favored Khan.
the ref won't be as lenient in regards to lamont's roughhouse tactics and pushing and grappling khan to the ropes (sorry,i meant his 'inside game') so i think peterson may have to revert to his usual style this time around
He will fight the same fight, he will walk Khan down and he will try to get inside all night. It will be Khan's job to let his hands go more and land through that guard while he's coming in. Khan seemed to be having a lot of success with the uppercut or straight down the middle.
Just stay inside he said it in an interview after the fight it would be easy. He knows he can walk through Khan and he was weak on the inside.
Lamont will not try to box with Khan early in a rematch, he'll go for walking him down from the jump, but by that same token with the ref controversy of the first fight Khan will probably be able to get away with a lot of holding and pushing without fear of point deductions and will do his best to stay on the outside at all times. Fight could go either way just like the first one.
Big thing was Lamont gassed at the end, I gave Khan the last three rounds because Lamont faded and couldn't sustain any attack. He's already said he won't come out like he did in first few rounds, which is where he got out boxed and the shotty knock down called against him. I hope Smogger refs the rematch. He won't allow Khan to sit hold Lamont's head down half the fight either. Lamont will send that self-entitled ***** back to the UK.
:deal he knows he can do it. He needs to train extra hard for stamina then he needs to go all out pressure and aggression right from round 1 until Kon quits. He can walk through anything Kon has. He needs to go all out agression and total inside pressure. We all know Kon cries like a ****** homo when fighters do that. Lamont UD
