I think what he was trying to say was that he's been taking them since before the first Khan fight, and has been taking them since. I don't think he denies taking them in training for the second fight.

If he's claiming that he's only been taking them before the first fight and hasn't taken them for the second or anything along those lines...he's incredibly stupid and the commission are just going to laugh him off.
Some steroids do, but not all. The transcutaneous ones are very short, and clearance can be like a couple of days like someone said.

CAN be. . CAN be. . Not always. . . All depends on what exactly you're using. . If it's andro based, which I think it was, then it's going to have a long half-life, method of taking the drug notwithstanding :good

I don't care if he was taking them for the remathc as well. . But at least we all KNOW he took them for the first Khan match, which proves exactly why he was able to stand up to Kahn's punches for 12 rounds, and was able to win 4 rounds.

Amir is clean because he is British and no other country has Britain's sporting integrity.

All proven and suspected steroids cheats are Filipino, American etc.

Yep, kinda' agree with King Khan at this point....
1. Big fight coming up. Need help from pellets.
2. Win big fight. Thank you pellets.
3. Pretend I'm clean fighter. Ask for random testing. System clean from pellets. No need to worry. It's in past. Look ahead at bright future. I'm champ.
4. Oh ****. Axe on my own foot. Pellets still in system. Caught by my own drug tests.

Lamont Peterson 'inadvertently' failed to disclose treatment

Lamont Peterson's lawyer told the Nevada Athletic Commission on Tuesday night that the champion boxer "inadvertently" failed to disclose medical treatment last year for low testosterone levels, and that's why he tested positive for synthetic testosterone in March and April.

The Associated Press reported late Tuesday that it had obtained a letter from Jeff Fried, Peterson's lawyer, to the Nevada Athletic Commission outlining the reason for the failed doping test administered in March and April by the Volunteer Anti-Doping Association (VADA), based in Las Vegas.
Unless the commission accepts that reasoning, Peterson's May 19 rematch against Amir Khan at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas will likely be canceled. The decision could come as early as Wednesday.
Peterson, the WBA and IBF light welterweight champion, won the belts by defeating Khan in a controversial bout in Washington in December, after which Khan questioned the scoring and refereeing.
Keith Kizer, the executive director of the Nevada Athletic Commission, told USA TODAY Sports on Tuesday, "Lamont Peterson is not licensed to fight in Nevada and will not be unless his attorney comes up with a legitimate excuse for testing positive. I expect to hear from them by the end of the day today.
"My understanding is that if he is not licensed, the May 19 fight will be canceled and Golden Boy ( Khan's promoter) will try to find another opponent for Khan at a later date."

So basically, it seems that he is using the MMA defense of TRT. I think. Does he have a Doctor's note?

So at this point, I wonder if it will come down to his "T-levels" and if it can be proven if it was still within the "normal" range or was he doing it for PED reasons. TRT vs. PED use.

Of course, the topic of why these athletes are getting treatment will be brought up.
Is it because they have faulty genes, injuries to their head and testicles, age, environment etc. that can play a factor...and are getting treated from the Doctor to prevent normal decline (if they are)...and so on. Or are they looking for an edge and just cheating. And that is of course if he is getting it from a Doctor.
TRT is legit. It has medical/health reasoning that are good. But with athletes, I'm not sure how that works.

In the end, if you don't let the Commission know and review it...your more than likely going to get suspended for not letting them know because they have to know why you are using it and so on.

Could you explain all this to me a little better mate. I know some basketballers who say that it stays in your system for at least a year but I don't get how so many slip the net.

This will sound stupid. But if a doctor prescribed those pellets to Lamont shouldn't he have told VADA/NSAC that he was about to take them for medical purposes b4 the first fight?

Im a Peterson fan and I dont believe it.....I dont want to say this but if this is his excuse then he cheated full stop!

I know they have a doctor who prescribed him the drugs BUT if he really needed this then he would have been open about it and told the commission about the pellets BEFORE the first fight!
