Who cares? I'm not a giant fan of either, but Khan did not lose due to his opponent doping. Khan lost because he completely sucks at inside fighting, and didn't have enough power to keep him on the outside.
If Khan weren't an idiot, and would sit down on some of his punches, instead of hitting and running... He'd definitely be in the running for a fight against Mayweather.

People will just say he forgot to take 'masking agents' prior to the first test. Not sure if they exist for this drug. I'm surprised it was detectable from November to March though? Would that be normal? Seems like a long time.

Khan did well considering all the factors against him...

I had him winning by 1 point...

and he fought a pretty bad fight...

true khan was exposed stylistically in that fight, but you cant say peds definitely didnt have an impact on the result. the fight was touch and go, and it can be argued that petersons great condition and seeming extra strength helped pinch the fight..... im not saying that was a result of peds, but its possible.

AS VEGAS (AP) A Nevada regulator says boxer Lamont Peterson failed a drug test, and a May 19 rematch in Las Vegas against former title holder Amir Khan is in doubt.

Nevada Athletic Commission executive Keith Kizer tells The Associated Press that he learned Monday that the WBA (super) and IBF light welterweight champion tested unacceptably high for synthetic testosterone in a urine test administered in March by the Las Vegas-based Voluntary Anti-Doping Association.

Kizer says separate tests on a second sample from the 28-year-old Peterson were found positive on May 2.

Kizer says Peterson's lawyer is promising an explanation.

But as of Tuesday, Peterson has no license to fight Khan as scheduled next week at the Mandalay Bay resort.

Kizer says Peterson won't get a license unless the matter can be resolved.

My point was that they should not have said anything that would create a cloud of suspicion over the last fight. Anything would have been better than what they said. Just look at the feeding frenzy the Khan supporters are having because on that quote.

What's sad as **** are the ***gots celebrating like Khan won something...Even if they give his belts back, it doesn't change the fact he was bullied and beaten, and made to look like a *****. If Peterson was cheating, **** him, but it doesn't change the fact Khan still got beat and made to look ****, regardless whether he gets to hold belts or not.

Their second argument seems to be, "But now that this is out of his system, who cares?" On one hand they claim that this crap was there from November until the March test and then seem to think the fact is is gone by the follow up test in April that means it wasn't there? Are they consulting Arum on how to throw up a smoke cloud?
