That's just it he's not gonna make him fight. PBF will fight his fight regardless. Hatton is the only guy who made him fight a fight he really didn't want to because of Hatton's ability to close the distance and you saw where that got him. PBF's uncanny ability to adjusts to all styles and to beat Hatton at his own game is what makes him so great. Mosley could never do that because he can't adjust. Not to mention Mosley doesn't have Hatton's footwork or footspeed.

JLC did so well for a number of reasons
1. PBF was injured going into the fight.
2. This was PBF's first fight at 135.
3. JLC outweighed PBF by 10 pounds on fight night
4. JLC is damn good and often underrated here.

You saw in the rematch what a healthy PBF could do he won the fight clearly. Lastly, I disagree with you saying JLC doesn't have better footwork than Shane, JLC could cut off the ring Shane can't he just follows people around looking for the big punch.

 

Obviously he didn't adjust enough or make the right adjustments if he lost the rematches. Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades and this ain't either.
Hatton's ability to close the distance is one of the best in boxing and he was very effective with it. How many Hatton fights have you seen? When the ref breaks his clinch he's right back on you like white on rice:deal That's why you would see him alot of times come in reckless because he could get away with it with lesser fighters. The boy got some quick feet.

 

Plenty of people would have had a chance especially at 147 Hearns, Pea, Forrest and SRL for starters.
