What's the use of this?? No one can force "Phoney" Mayweather to fight someone... He's his own man as he claimed...

Floyd will fight the one he wants to fight (preferably those who are so much disadvantaged against him)... NOT the ones he is demanded to fight...

It seems any old excuse will do now. We both know that isn't going to happen.

 

PBF will never take the fight. Sad, but true.

 

Stylistically, it is Mosley and not Cotto who will give Floyd the hardest fight.

 

I would just love to see Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight anyone that is top calibre. I don't particularly care who.

Shane Mosley - Potential classic (yes even with Floyd involved)
Miguel Cotto - Probably turn out the same way it did with Marquez
Manny Pacquiao - awesome match up, no doubt there will be many people complaining about weight regardless of what its going to be faught at. Most likely another 145 catchweight with more strict guidelines on what happens should floyd not make weight.

Theres three of the more obvious names right there.

Paul Williams - Imagine some peoples opinions if this fight was ever made, however unlikely it may seem.

 

i dont understand why so many are crying to make this fight happen. Floyd would beat the hell out of Mosley and no one outside of Mayweathers worst haters would disagree with that.

id rather people hype up Mayweather vs whoever wins out of Pacquiao and Cotto. Mosley is a waste of time and you all shouldnt have to wait for that fight to realize that.

 

I think that Mayweather vs Mosley would be a shutout, mastery boxing performance displayed by Mayweather ... there's a reason why things are tuning out like this ... Floyd would show a different dimension and Mosley would be stuck looking for a target ... and he might get stopped if Mayweather choose to get aggressive down the stretch.

 

Agree with you!!! Mosley now he wants to fight Floyd because he's about done and he now wants a multi pay day, so I say **** that big mouth Mosley...... I hope Floyd never give's him the favor......

 

I really can't see how anyone can envision a Mayweather landslide. Do you guys really think he is above another elite boxer the same size who is equally gifted. Floyd is very good maybe great, but at welter he has only faced less than stellar opponents.

Really guys how do you think Shane or Cotto would have fared against Floyds same opposition at 147. Shane is a top tier fighter even in losing against bigger men in Wink and Forrest he came back and was very competitive in rematches. People say boxers have gave Mosley problems but that's crazy. The guys who beat him could box but it was their size and power that had as much to do with it, none of what Floyd posesses. Even Cotto is a much more physically strong guy who was able to land some big bombs on Mosley.

Floyd doesn't have the offense to do what those men did. It may be close or even a MD for Floyd but no way can I see Floyd pulling a Marquez on a man as good and big as Shane. Against a part time Hoya it was a SD, Hatton was giving him hell for the first half, even Zab managed to grab 4 rounds. Even at Mosley's age he is better than any of those guys at the time Floyd faced them.

So when he moved up in weight for castillo he was fighting a "bigger man"...when he fought corley i think corley was the bigger man..oscar was 18lbs heavier than floyd on fight night....

 

The winner of Pacquiao/Cotto is the one to see. Mosley would be a great fight afterwards also.
