Soliman isnt a supermiddle, never was. Not to mention that he fought all those guys towards the end of thier careers. Echols was never that good, and Mundine ran from him the whole fight. Soliman was small. Green is the only decent win that Mundine has. His resume is weak and he has been around along time... I think that he is on his own with saying that Mundine has a stronger resume...I wouldnt spend too much time defending your position:good
When i say trained, i don't really mean from a technical or conditioning standpoint, as he always comes into the ring in excellent shape. Mainly cornerwork - ring advice and the absence of smart gameplans. Choc and his corner wouldn't know ring smarts if it was tea-bagging them.
He had a major eye injury after the second soliman fight and at one stage he was going to give it away, I think he is just not right after that. He also has made a hell of alot of money in his career, I would say 3 times more than any other current 168 fighter out there, He is his own promoter and manager, Mundine and his old man call all the shots and made millions out of this. around 20 million aussie dollars, the guy is very rich boy and now he is trying to milk it all the way.
I think thats half the problem with Mundine, he makes so much money fighting these guys that he has no financial incentive to fight the best. He knows it will put him in a position to lose for the same amount of money. Sad but true. Big waste of talent.
