    Interesting pick. I think in this matchup we would see in a boxing- chest match 2 real masters of defense...

    This one's easy;Rosenbloom gets kayoed with one punch by James Cagney in 'Each Dawn I Die.'

    Maxie wins this by a close UD, knowing that O'Brien is not going to hurt him, he takes a more aggressive stance.

    Impossible for us to pick, but for me based on what I have read from the oldtimers who saw both of them I must choose Phil Jack O'Brien. He was always on the top 5 lists of Nat Fleischer and his writing peers,whilst I never saw Maxie Rosenbloom's name on any best 10 LHs list. But were they to have ever met,Rosenbloom might have won. Heck,Maxie might have beaten most every LH,except lil Harry Greb,who gave Rosenbloom a good hiding...
