Lemme answer that Bazooka cuz this is something that been making me mad.

I AGREE THAT FLOYD SHOULD FIGHT SHANE...HOWEVER...SHANE NEEDS TO WAIT...FLOYD TRIED AND TRIED TO GET SHANE AND SHANE OPTED NOT TO FIGHT HIM..There are various reasons as to why from Shane really juss wanted a vacation to Shane was stepping aside for Oscar who is his boss..

Lets just assume ur right for a minute and Shane really did step aside for Oscar....It isn't Floyds fault that Shane did this..

the point im trying 2 make is that Shane needa realize that he not a draw...Pac earned the fight with Floyd IMO..he took his last 2 opponents and put on an incredible show with each(im not a pac fan but i gotta give him his credit)...Now Floyd coming back for the Pac fight...

To answer ur question though I think Floyd doesn't take the Shane fight yet cuz he doesn't wanna risk his 20 plus million with the best in the world (Pac) to fight a top WW who has the skills to make a fight with Floyd competitive. FLOYD IS SMART IN NOT TAKING THE MOSLEY FIGHT FIRST...IF HE BEATS PAC THAN A FIGHT WITH MOSLEY WOULD BE THAT MUCH BIGGER AND HE COULD GET 1 20 PLUS MILLION PAYDAY AND 1 10 PLUS MILLION WITH SHANE...IF HE FOUGHT SHANE AND LOST THAN HE WOULDNT BE WORHT AS MUCH IN A MEGA FIGHT WITH PAC..

SHANE WILL GET HIS CHANCE AFTER PAC BUT SHANE NEEDA STEP OUTTA LINE AND GIVE THE COTTO/PAC WINNER A SHOT..

Also Bazooka I know this thread is made to basically say that Floyd ducked Tony and Shane...I understand that and thats an opinion that everybody allowed to have but would u really be mad if Floyd opted to fight Pac next (should he win against Miguel)? I MEAN AFTER THE OSCAR AND HATTON FIGHT PAC WAS GOOD ON ALL THE SITES FOR 2 WEEKS...PAC FANS HAD HIM WINNING BY KO 1 OVER SRL:rofl

Here is something that will happen, if Floyd fights Pacquiao next and losses they will say its becuase he had that long lay off and fought an old Marquez he was not ready for a fluid fighter in Pacquiao....

Fight shane stay active beat him grab the legit #1 spot and a WBA title along with a nice paycheck going into the pac fight and guess what? Now Floyd has more of a reason to demand a 60/40 split he will have a world title, the legit #1 welter weight spot....

He won't say that. If he losses he lost to a superior fighter period.

Good luck with that a Pacquiao win over a Floyd Mayweather you know he is going to retire....

if he beats both Cotto and Floyd he will go down as probably the best fighter ever....... EVER~

Why wouldn't he stay in Las Vegas? He owns a home and gym there, and holds his superfights there. Makes sense.

He'll have no case for best of all time, but could be argued into Top 10 for sure. Particularly if they try to drain Floyd down to an unreasonable weight, etc.. For instance, the skeleton of De La Hoya means basically nothing on Pacquiao's resume.

Yea Shane is the #1 WW....I think Floyd could be alright in taking a fight with Mosley and tryin to get that belt....

But me, you, Floyd, and every other fan know that Mosley would be a much harder fight than lil Pac...If i were the fighter I would fight Pac 1st and than take the Shane fight..

If he loses to Pac than Ill kick my cat! He isn't losing to lil Pac Bazooka

Black fighters arent the cream of the crop?:lol::lol::lol: Is that why The top 3 p4p on the notorious biased ass latino Ring Magazine are black American fighters? Want me to name all the black champions in the game today? It'll be a helluva alot longer list then any other nationality let me tell you. How many black Americans are there in the wolrd? 40 mil? Now how many champions in boxing are black. Yeah thats what I thought.
