VArgas, Margarito are basically the same style fighters. Come forward, little movement, brawlers. Perfect for a semi-brawler like Mosley. Basically Mosley is a faster, quicker, stronger version of these guys. As to why, pure boxers like Vernon Forrest, Oscar(when he chose to), and Winky Wright beat Mosley.

As for the Mayorga fight. Mayorga was very close on the cards, the same Mayorga that Oscar despensed with in 6. Why you ask? Because Mosley couldnt time Mayorga, an unorthodox fighter who fights with different angles and is not easy to figure out.

Which is big. Cotto outboxed Mosley, and had him gassing in the middle rounds. It was only close because Cotto seemed to gass himself in the late rounds giving Mosley a window of opportunity, Cotto still put the fight away with coutnerpunchingoff the back foot which is far far far inferior to Floyds

 

I dont even think he does that I think he starts with the upper cuts both of them first, low uppers high uppers then to the head with the over hand rights.

 

Shane gassed against cotto. I see no reason why he wouldnt gas against Mayweather. He also looked a little tired against Mayorga.

The thing with Oscar taking Mayorga out, is becuase Mayorga walked to him thinking Oscar was a little girl, and he got nailed with a sledge hammer of a left hook early the fight was over from there....

Your banking on Mosley getting tired is the last thing you want to bring up going into this fight, cus Floyd if thats his game plan as it was with Oscar he might be knocked out before he sees Shane get tired.

 

D, both of those guys hit Shane with all they had, and did not put a dent in him. Shane gassed against Cotto in the last 2 rounds, and Shane did not seem gassed against Mayorga as he took him out in round 12. He could gas against floyd as Floyd does go to the body so i won't discount what you're saying, but I doubt that it will happen in 4, and I know you were probably just making a harsh point.:good

 

It is an upset. Mayorga not onyl went round with Shane, he was very close on the scorecards aswell. Hell some people had him winning until the knockdwon.

Thats nto what we are talking about here. We are talking about fighters that give Mosley angles, make him chase and are hard to time. I.E Mayweather.

Who esle did Mosley struggle against? Forrest and Wright? Defensive fighters with good jabs. Pure boxers. What is Floyd? A pure boxer?

Honestly you dont know how to analyze fighters correctly. Anyone can see that if Cotto, Forrest, Mayorga, and Wright were able to trouble Mosley, Floyd should have no problem.

Knocked out. Floyds plan will work far better then it did against Oscar. He;ll be fighting in his natural weight, against an older fighter, who doesnt ahve near have the dominate jab that Oscar does.

Like I said, Mosley wont win 4 rounds. Guaranteed.

 

Floyd doesnt bang to the body like Cotto though, well thats my opinion however he did break Judah down with a good few rounds of body work....

 

I say he'll gas in the mid rounds 4-6. because thats basically wear he gassed against cotto. A 40 year old Mosley chasing Floyd around the ring? Not gonna happen .

Floyd, Pac, Cotto, AM and Shane are all top fighters. I feel kind of funny dissing them at times, but I only do it when I read a post that is outragiously off base. All 5 are fine fighters, and it's fun to argue who is better. I just wish Arum was not in the picture at all.
