Honestly he might but as you and others have said alot of African americans on the west coast, well the amateurs to be honest they just dont have very many good trainers in those areas, and alot are actually moving out of the major citys cus the cost of living is too high out here for them....

This is why the decline in them in the amateurs..... sure most are playing basketball and football but alot has to do with what it cost to live here, and the lack of good trainers at those clubs.

I want tuff fights for my kid, sure wish him the best all you want, I wish him the best but I want the best brought out of him, I dont want him to be a mayweather like fighter, I want people who see him fight win or lose, to remember the way he fought, those are the kinds of fighters that drive the sport, those kinds of fighters put people in the seats.

its not about money with us, its about being real, its about when people pay to see you fight, they dont come back after the fight talking **** about your performance especially when you are in there with a man two divisons south of you..

its about giving the people fights, giving them their moneys worth, A million PPV sales is nice beleive me there isnt a man in the game that doesnt want that, but I know this, what good is that when your kids will grow up and ask you, Daddy why didnt you fight Margarito? why didnt you fight Mosley? why did you fight all these little guys and lesser fighters such as a Zab Judah or a Carlos Baldimor.

Then you try to explain how that linear **** works to your own kid, and guess what he wont understand that, all he will know is the kids at his school say his daddy fought like a ***** and ducked everybody.

Atleast he'll be able to have those conversations with his kids due to the lack of punishment he's taken in the ring. While guys like Margo and Shane might not. Boxing is a cruel business at the end of the day you have fighters who gave their all in the ring who are broke and homeless. Are you taking these guys in? Are you paying their medical bills?
