I didn't see the fight, but watched the first round on Youtube. It was very clear- as most had predicted- that Abraham was just too big and strong for Marquez.

Havent seen the fight. From the pics looks like Abraham more tanned.

 

Easy win for AA, he looked massive compared to Marquez, I think a move up to 68 is on the cards soon. I dont think Pavliks team are going to make any unessercary risks any time soon, therefore I dont think he'll fight Abraham.

Abraham should move up and aim for Bute...

I'm sure that's because he didn't fear Marquez's power. It will be a different story against Pavlik (much like against Miranda). But, honestly, I don't see Pavlik wanting any part of Abraham. I've picked Abraham over Pavlik for months now.

 

I dont pick AA over Pavlik, he keeps his hands down too much, then again if he gets inside its over for Kelly, it really depends on Kelly how this fight goes, if he pushes AA back the way he did Miranda its over.

 

In pictures 1, 2, and 3, Pavlik sparks AA. There is absolutely nothing in Arthur's history, style, or skill level, that says he can beat Pavlik. Barring a lucky shot by AA it will be a surprisingly one-sided fight. And, JT will still be Pavlik's best win.

 

Abraham's defense and countering are excellent. Watch the second Miranda fight again. Pavlik's defense is too weak to avoid getting countered by A.A. Unless Pavlik takes him out early, A.A. will catch him with a cross, and then it's over. imho. I'd love to see the fight, no matter who wins. It will a good one for as long as it lasts.

There are actually several really good fights that need to happen at 160. I hope we get them. And by the way, Pavlik did not need a 2nd fight with Miranda to get a clear win. Arthur did, and even Smoger would have stopped that first fight!

You can never count AA completely out because of his one punch power. However, right after Pavlik beat JT the first time, I said KP is a stylistic nightmare for Arthur, and nothing has happened to change my mind. Arthur Abraham is not qualified to wash BHop's car, and Hopkins is THE ONLY guy to beat Pavlik.
