I rate Haye and Chambers higher but he's one of the top fighters. However, I'll say this before and I'll say it again, his resume is very thin (old McCline, gate keeper Walker and tough but very amaturish Minto who decided he's too small for HW). A lot of his popularity, has to do with HBO hyping him up for a few months as America's last hope. If he wins against Adamek, it will be by FAR his best career win.
I will give Haye the credit for holding the belt and looking more natural at this weight. Althought I admit that Arreola is more dangerous than Valuev or Ruiz.
Arreola misses a lot of shots against very static opponents, the mobile boxer may give him a lot of problems.
I like Adamek but he may be in over his head this time. I'm just not sold oon him being a heavyweight yet. I hope I'm wrong.
So Haye has an awesome Resume....getting stopped by chumps and struggling to put down Ruiz. You can't pick and choose...Arreola got in the ring with one of the Klits and did not fake a back injury.
I hear that Adamek may be the favorite in the betting stakes. :huh Dunno, I think that Adamek has a good chance but, it's going to be extremely difficult for him. Arreola is looking quite fat in those pictures. He possibly hasn't moved much from where he was last fight ( >260 ) but, I still pick him to wear out Adamek. Which is sad because I would like Adamek to punish that fat beaner.
Fairly sloppy fighting all in all against C to maybe B level competition.I wouldnt call him the best behind the Klits. He has yet to beat a top tier HW.
My only problem with Adamek at HW is he has very short arms, or maybe he just doesn't properly extend his punches, but he really needs ot be mid-range to be effective at HW, and I think this is his biggest problem if he fights Arreola, who's probably going to want to tie him up on the inside and throw right hands on the outside. That being said, I think Adamek will win this because he has quicker hands, particularly his hook.
Adamek is looking very, VERY good! Looks like they have been working his core alot, just like I suggested after the Estrada fight, where he still seemed a bit soft at his new higher weight. (((((((((((((((((GO GORAL)))))))))))))))))
